viaLearning is looking for a Senior Flash Programmer/Developer to build interactive courseware using multimedia elements, Flash or Flex applications and animations for our clients. The Flash Programmer/Developer will conceptualize, develop and build Flash applications that meet company and client expectations and overall project goals. You will work in a small team, collaborating, designing and implementing solutions. This role is also responsible for determining the best ways to program the deliverables, including eLearning courses, web-based games, mobile learning and HTML5 learning solutions. This role involves development of high-level concepts for projects and executing the functional design plan and creating course deliverables. You will work with internal and external clients, brainstorm creative solutions with the team, collaborate on and pitch concepts and understand client needs.

Experience with Flash and Adobe products required. Minimum requirements:

3+ years of development experience and high technical aptitude

Possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as industry best practices

Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web

Understand Flash and have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative motion graphics solutions

Experience programming with JavaScript, XML, and SQL

Mobile learning and game-based learning development a must

Experience with PHP and/or .NET and their integration with Flash Development is a plus
