We have an immediate need for a Senior Designer to lead creative direction and execution of a variety of projects. The ideal candidate is proficient at communicating ideas through design with bursting creativity; thoughtful, with a reason for every design choice; collaborative; passionate; curious; and engaged in the work.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

* Five years of prior experience, with demonstrated ability to direct, execute, and manage multiple projects of diverse complexity in a variety of mediums.

* Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

* Image editing and illustration for print and web

* Art direction

* Typography

* Print and Web Production

* A disciplined eye for Brand Identity and Management

WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE

* Experience in user interface design, including mobile devices

* Some coding knowledge of Flash, HTML, HTML5, CSS

* Familiarity with e-mail marketing

* Experience in digital photography or video production

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES

* Delivering designs as well as directing other team members on a variety of projects including print advertising, web advertising, e-mail marketing, trade shows, and video production

* Lead brainstorming and creative collaboration sessions

* Owning/developing concepts and creative executions to fulfill business and communication objectives

* Involvement in a variety of design work related to building our cloud-based service for photographers, including web design, icons, UI elements, mobile experiences, and much more.
