Razorfish is one of the largest interactive agencies in the world and currently has more than 2,000 employees in 20 offices in seven countries (Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States) focusing exclusively on digital marketing and technology. Each office is filled with opportunities for people who want to invent the digital future. It's a big challenge, but it's a big Internet, and there's work to be done.

The Senior User Experience Designer is responsible for crafting the user experience strategy and illustrating functionality and content for the experience via site maps, transaction flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, and navigation models for web sites and applications. This is not a back-seat support role; in addition to collaborating with the Experience Lead, and other team members including other Experience Designers, Content Strategists and User Researchers, and others from the Creative, Technology and Strategy groups, you will also work with the client to present and review UX deliverables. A firm understanding of user-centered design processes and interaction design principles will be crucial to your success here. You should also be comfortable working collaboratively - leaving your ego at the door - but also be able to jump into a project with both feet as a sole UX contributor. Ideal candidates will have a healthy sense of humor, and are ready to finally work in a place where they are no longer the smartest person in the room.Creating the information architecture and interaction design for transactional, informational, and marketing websitesUnderstanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts and functional componentsSketching concepts at a high level as well as creating detailed documentationWorking closely with clients to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiencesCommunicating experience design ideas persuasively and appropriately for different audiencesLeading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testingDeveloping and/or participating in the development of user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user research and focus the team's design efforts on the needs of key usersCollaboratively developing prototypes for demonstration of concepts to clientsConducting competitive audits and market researchDeveloping and documenting detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfacesParticipating in User Experience thought leadership within the company and industryQualifications:Passion for all things digitalDemonstrated ability to create user experiences for complex transactional interfaces as well as brand-focused marketing projectsDemonstrated experience conducting user research and translating user research into design decisionsDemonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design decisionsDemonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative environmentExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsExperience in client services and negotiating business decisionsHigh tolerance for ambiguity matched only by your desire to organize itMobile experience highly desiredWillingness to travel5+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar roleDegree in a related field, such as Library Science, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Technical Communications, English, History, Anthropology, EconomicsAdvanced proficiency in a variety of design tools including Visio, InDesign, or Omnigraffle, as well as the MS Office SuiteThis is for full-time employement.
