MadCap Software, Inc. (www.madcapsoftware.com) is the cutting-edge software provider of technical communication tools for thousands of customers including Google, Microsoft and HP. We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Graphic Artist to join our marketing team.

General requirements:

Ability and desire to make technical products look cool

An appreciation for clean design

Must love the color black

A+ players need only apply

Strong attention to detail

Ability to think outside the box

Adept at managing multiple and competing priorities and deadlines

Ability to work independently with limited oversight

Technical requirements:

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

Excellent layout and composition skills in print and web design

HTML/CSS Knowledge a must

Understanding of website design and layout concepts

Understanding of JavaScript implementation

Desired Background:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Creative Design, Web Design, Marketing or other related field

4 - 6 years of design experience (advertising agency or design firm experience strongly preferred)

Experience with website design and email marketing campaigns a plus

Knowledge of brand development and creative process with ability to apply brand standards across a wide variety of media

Samples of work required

Responsibilities:

Provide creative direction to junior design team

Create a wide range of print and online marketing communications including:

o Brochures, flyers and other printed collateral

o Print and online advertising

o Tradeshow signage
