MiresBall, an award-winning San Diego-based brand design firm, seeks an experienced Traffic Coordinator to manage studio workflow, project staffing and scheduling. The Traffic Coordinator serves as a key point of communication between design and account teams, supporting the firm's quality standards while ensuring deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

Manage studio workflow using Workamajig management software: open jobs, assign tasks, establish project teams, and coordinate project timelines

Assign and track employee time across the studio (graphic designers, writers, and retouchers)

Coordinate studio schedule on day-to-day basis, and forecast 1-2 weeks out

Coordinate regular traffic meetings with principals and account supervisors

Facilitate communication between departments and teams

Identify and manage freelance resources

Track new business opportunities and their potential impact on workflow

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to manage large workflow from two principals and multiple account supervisors

Strong understanding of design, print production, and new media processes

Ability to meet and exceed strict deadlines

Strong organization and time management skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and quickly adjust priorities as needed

Ability to adapt to rapidly changing projects and timelines

Ability to remain calm and productive in difficult situations

Willingness to ask questions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field

Minimum 3 years related experience in scheduling and project management, design agency experience preferred

Proven experience in scheduling and forecasting projects

Proficient in agency financial management software, knowledge of Workamajig or Clients & Profits preferred

Proficient in Mac operating systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel for Mac
