Small, solid, growing and creative firm seeks a Video Production Specialist. If we could summarize it in one sentence, here's how it would read:
"If you're a FCP/Motion devotee looking to expand upon your technical capabilities within the environment of a fun, positive, busy Production Company, then we need to talk!"
OK, with that said, here's the base list of requirements the position entails:
1.) Strong knowledge of Final Cut Pro, and the Final Cut Studio suite including Motion.
2.) Strong creative video editing skills including a basic knowledge of compositing green screen footage.
3.) Must be able to interact with clients on a professional level.
4.) Strong general communication skills.
5.) Must be able to work with a producer or independently on editing assignments.
6.) Must have a general knowledge or interest in field production and be willing to help on shoots.
7.) Good character and sense of humor.
Additional skills like experience with Photoshop, Soundtrack, image manipulation / color correction, graphic design, animation, basic experience with green screen compositing, basic production equipment, and other related skills is a definite advantage. This is a salary, not hourly position. Benefits are also included after the first full calendar month of employment. We are located in the general Fairfax, VA area.
