Overview:

Lead the web design function across multiple unique global brands. Direct and design creative assets that will be used to drive sales and consumer behavior online. Utilize strong processes and communication to meet deadlines and ensure consistency across all channels.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop strategic vision of user experience and design

Develop and work within design processes to ensure efficient workflow

Develop web styles guides for agencies, global partners and internal designer(s) to follow

Manage internal web designer team member(s), provide project direction and ensure their sort & long-term success

Design creative concepts and final consumer facing content

Ensure all consumer-facing digital creative meets individual brand standards

Create intuitive user-friendly visual solutions to meet consumer and business goals

Design seasonal email templates for web designer(s) to work within

Design consumer-facing marketing content stories for multiple digital channels

Ensure cross-functional alignment across channels by partnering with retail and brand creative resources.

Collaborate and guide design efforts of external web agencies to maintain visual consistency

Articulate ideas verbally and visually through the use of comps and wireframes

Contribute to ongoing improvement of user experiences and flow

Stay current on digital design and user experience trends

Participate in consumer usability studies, to improve consumer experience

Partner with Content Manager to plan, prioritize and manage design work

Partner with web development team to understand platform and ensure seamless integration

Performs duties consistent with the company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.

Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Create and maintain digital design standards and contribute to the evolution of those standards

Position Requirements:

5+ years of web/digital design experience

College Degree, preferably in web/digital design

Working understanding of web graphic optimization

Experience working with CMS platforms

Experience designing for multiple lifestyle brands

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to sell ideas

Adobe Photoshop

Mobile/Tablet design experience a plus

eCommerce specific experience a plus

Experience with HTML/CSS a plus

Experience with Web Analytics a plus

Written Spanish and/or German language a plus
