Xtranormal is looking for a talented web designer who will join our team full time and shape the next phases of our web and mobile products.

Bring a wide array of knowledge and know-how across many design principles. The ideal candidate will work well with others to fit the needs of visual design for a variety of media methods -- visual web, print design, marketing material development, and more. Comprehensive design insight is a must. Know how to perform from a design brief, but accept the need to adapt if needed.

Responsibilities:

Website design

Web usability

Typography

SEO

User experience principles

Work with development teams on design iterations

Creation of high-quality graphical elements to spec

Ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner

Ensure that web and print materials implement brand style

Graphic design of marcom materials and other graphical requirements

Support brand development activities

Work with Product Management, Creative and Marcom to ensure that company brand and brand attributes are used appropriately throughout organization

Support the structured interaction design process

Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Relevant website design experience

College degree in a related field

Strong typography and iconography skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Knowledge of 3D, animation, social media, and internet tech trends a plus

Ability to juggle through multiple projects to meet tight deadlines

Software Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Photoshop CS4/5, and Illustrator CS4/5, and knowledge of HTML/XHTML/CSS are required

Experience with Adobe Fireworks CS4/5, Adobe InDesign CS4/5, After Effects CS4/5 and Autodesk Maya a plus
