Web Designer / Graphics Designer (Full and/or Part Time)

POSITION SUMMARY

inMotionNow.com (visit us at http://www.inmotionnow.com )is currently seeking experienced web/graphic designers to join our Development team. This individual will be helping to create engaging interactive experiences for our web interfaces and collateral materials. Variety of challenges and design opportunities abound. The Designer will participate in visual and interaction design efforts for our flagship product, our application and supporting collateral including our corporate website, and campaign and promotional materials. Duties will include the following:

Analyze functional and technical requirements

Collaborate with inMotion departments and subject matter experts on application/page objectives, standards, and content

Use sound web design theory to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and complete products as needed.

Develop the front end for web solutions including code, graphics, and multimedia as appropriate

Conduct quality assurance testing and resolution on all deliverables

Exciting development, design, or analysis tasks as needed

2+ years experience in web-based design and development.

User interface design as applied to Web-based applications and mobile devices.

Design and prototyping tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver

Understanding of and ability to use web 2.0 technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English required.

Ability to work independently as well as an effective team player across multiple departments with little supervision

Strong analytical and problem solving skills; comfortable working as an analyst, developer, and/or designer as needed

Demonstrated ability to code a web application front end for integration with server side technologies

Experience developing for multiple browsers and operating systems

Knowledge of software development life cycle development methodologies (e.g., Agile/RUP/Waterfall), and the realities of commercial web application design

Experience with usability (e.g., as a tester, analyst, or developer using user-centered data) a plus
