Background:

We are moving away from a design and development shop to a full service interactive agency that helps clients with online marketing, site and branding enhancements, and other support services once their website has launched.

We need a person to help the transition from web design, to support and maintenance.

The right candidate would work with the web design project manager on concepts, messaging, and form a marketing strategy (only online) once the site goes live. Once the site goes live they would be in charge of the Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click accounts, Social Media updates, and other marketing initiatives. These skills are must-haves.

Skills that would be huge benefits would be graphic design, and HTML. Because the right candidate would be hands-on with the clients, we would hope they can handle the majority of site enhancements rather than just manage it. This position is a "billable" position, and not just an overseer.

Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue. Ensures that services consistently meet client needs. May be responsible for assisting with sales quotations as well as sustaining and renewing client support and maintenance contracts. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 3-5 years of experience in account management in an interactive/ad agency environment. Familiar with a variety of interactive marketing practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

Manages ongoing client support and maintenance recommendations and oversees execution of related initiatives. Uses traffic tracking applications to recognize user patterns and trends to help formulate effective recommendations for site/online marketing enhancements. Undertakes search engine optimization to drive users to client websites. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of SEO, SEM and Social Media. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to top management.

Day to day responsibilities include cultivating and nurturing strong working relationships with clients, developing effective ongoing strategies, planning and executing of initiatives and analyzing and reporting of performance.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

* Provide day-to-day management of assigned support and maintenance accounts; ensure that client recommendations and resulting reports and projects are functioning appropriately and delivered accurately.

* Serve as liaison between client and all internal departments for the tactical execution of all support and maintenance related initiatives.

* Accurately set up client projects based on deliverables.

* Provide regular status reports to senior staff and Clients regarding the status of all key initiatives.

* Maintain a thorough knowledge of SEO, SEM & Social Media; is at ease answering questions regarding capabilities and product offerings.

* Collaborate with senior staff to develop innovative solutions to the problems facing clients.

* Engage with clients and work collaboratively to exceed expectations
