Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods, headquartered in Portland, Oregon is the nation's leading purveyor of natural, organic, gluten-free and whole grain flours, cereals and baking mixes. Marketing our 300+ product to a variety of unique consumer segments is an ever-growing, challenging and rewarding task. We're looking for an organized and self-motivated individual to help us keep our interactive online experience useful, robust, engaging, fresh and imbued with our passion for health.

The person cut out for this position needs quite a bit of experience operating consumer-facing, commercial websites and should be attuned to the latest and greatest practices in the discipline. Aside from our main site, this includes all sorts of interactive tools like our B2B site, newsletter, blog, and a plethora of social media. Technical savvy is a must for this role but the right fit is also going to need strong interpersonal skills to uphold the collaborative, communicative and friendly but fast-paced environment we have built here. Our new Web Developer will work with marketers, designers, IT experts and our incredible customer service team to fuel our stratospheric growth.

The web developer at Bob's Red Mill will:

Create web pages

Design content

Keep the sites and its related components operating optimally

Execute our monthly newsletters

Manage social media tactics and integration

Keep the site safe and secure

Continuously improve and measure SEO tactics

The required skills for this role include:

5+ years web development experience

Interpersonal communications

PHP/MySQL/LAMP expertise

Flash / Dreamwaver / Fireworks / PS / Illustrator skills

Experience with shopping cart platforms (X-Cart pref.)

Graphic design (with portfolio)

SEO expertise

Management and interpretation of analytics data

Server management skills

IOS Programming skills
