We are seeking an agency caliber Interactive Graphic Designer to join our award-winning Corporate creative team. This innovative thinker will provide creative design, maintain microsites, create online and email communications, create motion graphics and also assist the Web development team with minor code updates. We're looking for a detail-oriented person effective as a designer who thrives on producing high-quality creative concepts in a timely fashion and providing solutions that adhere to technical parameters and Corporate standards.
Responsibilities:
Create/Modify/Optimize graphics and multimedia assets for print, websites and online materials
Design and code HTML email templates; manage email template materials
Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly projects, working with copywriters, project managers and other designers
Manage projects through design, development, QA, UAT and production to ensure final product is implemented on time and as originally intended
Proactively provide innovative ideas for design and interactive solutions
Collaborate with Art Director to develop branded creative design solutions
Effectively communicate across teams and work on multiple projects at the same time
Stay abreast of new developments in graphics software packages, Web trends and related technologies
Qualifications:
Must have training in computer graphics packages, including Adobe CS5, with extensive knowledge of Photoshop; Flash; basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
Proficiency with Web technologies, including ActionScript 2 or 3, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Four-year degree in design or relevant experience
Understanding of Web development standards and user-centered design methodology
Understanding of Web video standards and production programs, including Final Cut Pro, Premiere, and After Effects preferred
Excellent communication skills; capable of working within a team environment
Ability to prioritize and manage work and meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Must provide an online portfolio of design work that demonstrates strong graphic design, typography and Web development skills
