ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MotoSport is a national leader in motorcycle and ATV accessories and apparel. We are looking for someone who is creative, technical, detail and process oriented to join one of Portland's fastest growing online retail businesses. Work as part of a team to conceptualize and produce a variety of interactive, web, email, and print projects. Create visually appealing, user-friendly designs for web banners, email blasts, landing pages, catalog, magazine ads and creative assets for 5 storefront sites. Perhaps most rewarding, you will help to create a vision that not only conveys MotoSport's passion for power sports, but also delivers on aggressive business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years graphic design experience and/or training.
Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and experience.
Must have strong knowledge of all Mac OSX and PC applications.
Must be proficient in Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign), Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
Knowledge of HTML (Proficiency in Flash & CSS a plus but not required)
Versatility to work on print campaigns as well as web.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
The Web Graphic Designer must have a fresh, original portfolio of diverse creative work demonstrating a strong understanding of global trends, technology and design.
Proficient with Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign).
Knowledge of HTML and understanding of the benefits and limitations of email clients/web browsers when coding marketing emails.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
Experience in web applications and an understanding of how graphic design principles apply to interactive projects.
Ability to design for both web and print.
Knowledge of the motorcycle industry a plus.
