DreamWorld Studios located in Eden Prairie, MN is looking for a Web/Interactive Designer who has 3+ years of experience with interactive/website design and development. SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT AND DELIVERY

* Creates visually compelling interactive designs for clients

* In-depth understanding of how interactive media are used

* Ability to influence the use of interactive media through good design

PROJECT EXECUTION

* Executes project plans and works to create revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

* Communicates and enforces design standards

* Manages resources within budget and project schedule

* Works with DWS team and collaborate to resolve issues or deficiencies

* Consistently delivers high-quality services to clients

DESIGN SKILLS & PROCESSES

* Excellence in concept design, production and client interface development

* Understanding of interactive functionality reflected in design and the ability to turn a design into functioning assets

* Strong knowledge of information architecture

* Collaboration with the Interactive Project Manager to develop flow mapping and wire-framing

* Collaborate with the Interactive Project Manager to properly deploy interactive strategies and execute successful interactive designs

* Collaborate with Group and Associate Creative Directors to cultivate concepts and ideas born of traditional media for use and translation in digital media

* Collaborate with the Interactive Project Manager and Account Management by developing design documentation as appropriate and making thorough and organized requests to meet all content requirements

* Spearhead graphic and interface design for interactive projects with guidance from the Creative Director and within the information architecture provided by the Interactive Project Manager

* Working with animation and motion graphics for the Web

* Familiar with Video and sound optimization for web based delivery

* Other related tasks as they relate to this role

APPLICATION UTILIZATION

* Demonstrates expert knowledge of all current Adobe CS design related applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, etc.)

* Thorough understanding and competency with standards based HTML & CSS coding

* General to advanced understanding and competency of client side scripting and technologies (i.e. java script, DHTML, XML, Ajax, Soap, jQuery, etc.)

* Familiarity with common CMS implementations and structure (i.e. WordPress, DNN, Drupal, Joomla, etc)

* Familiarity and/or competency with a web related programming language is a definite plus (i.e. PHP or .Net)

* Demonstrates general knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)

* Other related and similar applications and technologies as related to the industry

* Possesses significant knowledge of client server and internet systems architectures

* Good understanding of the technical resources required to execute designs

* Understands browser specific compatibility issues

* Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments

Compensation for this position is salary and is based upon capabilities/experience. Our compensation includes a very competitive benefit package as well.
