A creative business located in downtown Chicago's West Loop is seeking a talented Web/IT/All-Around Techmonkey Intern. Your task at the outset will be to reduce the load on our IT staff by assisting in tech support, data management, and web management tasks.

Priority consideration will be given to applicants who have a familiarity with the following:

- Website design, maintenance (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress)

- Social Media management (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube)

- Adobe CS3+ Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

- Microsoft Office 2008+ (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Web Development Tools (Notepad++, Vim, etc., FTP, *nix, )

Please highlight any examples you feel convey your knowledge in these fields.

You must have an excellent attention to detail, as you will be working with live websites, critical business services, large databases, and high-value technology setups. You should also be self-motivated, fastidious, thorough, fore-thinking, curious, outspoken, logical, and literate.

The "IT Intern" would work with our staff of graphic, web, and video designers in a very creative workspace called "The Thinkubator" located at 312 N. May Street in Chicago's West Loop. Street parking is available and we are close to several bus stops and train stops for the blue and green lines. There is flexibility in scheduling work that could range from 20-40 hours per week including some virtual work.

You can work on your own computer or our make use of one of ours. The internship is unpaid for the first 90 days and can move to a paid position after 90 days if certain results are achieved. Our workspace is fun, inspiring and we offer several wonderful perks!
