Yoga People is accepting applications for our partial tuition/barter program. It is a Yoga Alliance registered Teacher Training course. The program will begin March 2nd 2012 through June 9th 2012..The training will meet on 9 select weekends - Friday nights from 7:000 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 9:00-6:00 and Sundays 12:00-7:00
At Yoga People, we pride ourselves on giving you an amazing training, with exceptional lead teachers. We keep our trainings small to allow a lot of one on one attention from the teachers and to give you the most opportunities possible to practice teach. - You will be up teaching on day 1! Whether or not you are planning to teach, your practice will certainly blossom and deepen, and gaining a deeper understanding of the Philosophy of Yoga is sure to impact your life in ways that will lead you on a new path in life.

The full tuition for the training is $3,200 and we are looking for exceptional candidates to work in exchange for partial tuition. Candidates pay $1799 towards the training, the remaining balance to be worked off at the front desk as assistant to the manager at the rate of $10/per hour.(that is 180 hours to be worked off, during that time you will continue to practice for free at the studio!) The candidates must be hardworking and motivated individuals who possess a positive attitude. Previous experience as a receptionist or work within the fitness field, experience planning workshops and retreats, knowledge of Mindbody Online, graphic design, website updates, social networking, Public relations, Google ad words, and marketing are all a plus.
