Growing San Diego firm is looking for Certified Interior Designer for a full time position.
We are a planning, engineering and design company serving clients in the public and private sector; specializing in Healthcare, Military/Student Housing, Academic Facilities, Administrative Offices, Space Planning and FF&E Procurement and Installation. The ideal candidate should well versed in Interior Design, is meticulous in producing superior results, takes pride in their work, able to learn quickly, a self-starter and can perform independently.
Requirements:
<< Bachelor Degree in Interior Design from a Fider/Cida Accredited School of Design.
<< NCIDQ Certification a must.
<< LEED Certification a plus.
<< Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel Outlook, Power Point, Projects).
<< Proficient in Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator.
<< Proficient in AutoCAD and with Sketch up.
<< Minimum of 8-10 years experience in Government space planning, facility move coordination, building management, facility turnover, FF& E.
<< Knowledge of Government specification & acquisitions.
<< Familiar with Government solicitation procedures.
<< Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
<< Knowledge of Government & private submittals procedures.
Job Description:
Functioning as a team member/project lead on assigned projects, the successful
Candidate will:
<< Read and interpret construction documents, furniture/fixture & equipment specifications.
<< Develop detailed furniture/equipment installation drawings.
<< Manage and coordinate vendors and procurement needs.
<< Prepare delivery schedules, and necessary CAD drawings.
<< Work closely with Clients, General Contractors, Architects, and support staff.
<< Able to travel regularly to project sites.
