Henriksen/Butler, a Herman Miller dealer with offices in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, St. George, and Idaho Falls, is seeking to add a full-time designer to our Las Vegas office.

The ideal candidate will display a strong work ethic, work well in a fast paced environment, possess a high level of energy, have a desire to take on responsibilities, work well independently and with a team, be detail oriented, and be able to work under deadlines and time constraints. Multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize are a must.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Participate in programming process to evaluate client needs and determine scope of services required by client.

Create building shell drawings, preliminary space plan drawings, isometrics, renderings and final drawings using a mix of computer software; AutoCAD, ICE, CAP, and Z-Axis.

Select fabrics and finishes and/or identify complementary matches to existing finishes.

Produce complete, accurate, on time specifications and cost estimates using current specifying programs, standards and procedures.

Present all drawings, samples and related information to client and/or account manager.

Maintain library. Contact vendor reps and manufacturers to request literature and samples to keep library up to date and accurate.

Associate degree in Interior Design required. BFA, BA or BS in Interior Design and/or Architecture preferred. Must be proficient in AutoCAD; prior experience with architectural drafting, contract furniture and/or interior design preferred.
