Commercial Furniture Dealership is seeking fulltime Commercial Interior Designer/PM.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Designer/Project Manager provides design services to dealership clients, including inventory verifications, programming, space planning, typical workstation development, finish cards, working/installation drawings, specifications and site-to-plan review.
Works closely with dealership sales, order entry and installation groups, as well as clients, to ensure accurate furniture plans and specifications, conformance to clients requirements, client satisfaction and high quality project implementation.
Plan, coordinates and oversees all tasks, critical dates, client and third party interface and relations, performance quality and customer satisfaction, budget and project administration for each assigned project.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have good communication and written skills, be professional, intelligent, efficient, and have a positive attitude working with little supervision.
The ability to produce accurate drawings and specifications is a must along with strong time management and problem solving skills.
An in depth knowledge of architectural standards, construction drawings, building codes and specification writing is a must.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2010, Project Matrix (or CAP 20/20), Team Design and Microsoft Office Suite software.
Minimum of 2 years furniture dealership experience is preferred. Haworth Furniture product knowledge desirable.
Four year accredited Interior Design degree required.
LEED accreditation and/or NCIDQ certificate holder is desirable.
