Interior Designer / Project Manager (West Houston)

Owner rep project manager to simultaneously manage multiple small corporate office renovations and furniture reconfiguration projects. SPACE PLANNING AND CORPORATE FACILITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Required qualities are multi-tasking, working under deadlines, organizational skills, communication & teamwork skills, pro-active, self motivated and excellent MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.

Must be able to demonstrate substantial design & construction knowledge: programming, space planning, furniture, architecture/engineering plans & specs, construction and technology. Required technical skills include programming, space planning, systems furniture planning, corporate office standards, construction administration, technology/cable planning and move coordination. Required project management skills include customer relations, team leadership, problem solving, documentation, bidding, cost estimating, scheduling and inspection. An interior design, architecture or construction management degree, or experience as an owner facility rep is preferred, but not required. Salary range: $60,000-$90,000. A minimum of 5 years related experience is required.

Project Administrative Assistant (West Houston)

Administrative assistant for corporate facility team responsible for managing multiple small corporate office renovation and furniture reconfiguration projects. Required qualities are multi-tasking, communication & teamwork skills, pro-active, assertive, methodical and ADVANCED MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills.

Must have a basic understanding of the project management, design and construction processes. Duties include working with project managers to collect and document project data, soliciting & coordinating vendor bids and contracts, scheduling vendor activities, managing project files, meeting minutes and creating / formatting project reports. Salary range: $30,000-50,000 (higher end with project management experience). FACILITY MANAGEMENT OR CONSTRUCTION OFFICE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (min 2 years).

Sr. Construction Project Manager -- Educational Project Specialist (West Houston)

Owner Rep Construction Manager for ground-up K-12 schools. Must be proficient in professional project management techniques and processes -- team leadership, customer relations, problem solving, cost management, scheduling, contract administration, bidding, inspection, value engineering, document management, change management, commissioning and closeout. Must have strong technical knowledge of construction means, methods and materials, architecture/ engineering plans & specs, public project contract limitations and K-12 school administrative standards.

Architecture, engineering or construction management degree preferred. 10+ years solid project management experience on major building projects with PM/CM consulting firm, architect, GC or owner. STRONG EXPERIENCE IN PUBLIC SECTOR AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIRED. If interested, please include project list along with resume.
