CreateSpace (CSP) is a leader in manufacture on-demand services for independent content creators, publishers, film studios and music labels. CSP provides inventory-free, physical distribution of Books, CDs and DVDs on Demand, music downloads via Amazon MP3 and video downloads via Amazon Video On Demand. CSP is a brand of On-Demand Publishing LLC, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN).
CSP is currently recruiting freelance book interior designers to join our outsourced team.
Potential applicants must be detail-oriented self-starters comfortable working independently, while adhering to strict deadlines and specifications. The most qualified candidates will have at least five years book interior design/publishing experience and will be familiar with current industry standards.
All applicants must own and be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite 4 or 5 (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat), Microsoft Excel, and must be comfortable with using the Internet. Payment is based per assignment and is processed monthly with the option for direct deposit or check.
Pre-selected candidates will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete a non-paid sample assignment. Selected applicants will need to sign a work for hire contract.
