Brown Design & Development is a high-end interior design firm specializing in residential and commercial design. We are looking for an interior designer who is hard working, professional, has good office communication, and truly passionate about our industry. Applicants should be available full time and able to work in our LA office.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- A 2-4 year degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- AutoCad and Sketch-up proficiency
- Working experience in the field of interior design
- Previous construction knowledge and/or experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
Job Summary:
With guidance and self-directed practice candidates will be expected to establish and monitor schedules, budgets and communications; attend on-site client meetings, source and request materials/furniture/accessories, prepare and submit design plans, drawings and estimates, support management of all projects from conceptual design to realization, as well as any additional duties that may arise.
