Freelance Interior Designer (Tribeca)

Feb. 6, 2012

New York, NY

Confidential

The CEO of a major Manhattan design agency is seeking an interior decorator for his new Tribeca apartment. The apartment is in need of a gradual but overarching interior redesign, which may span from furniture to artwork and the customization of unique architectural qualities throughout. This is an ideal project for a young, emerging designer looking to lead a project in its entirety in an ideal Manhattan location with a well-known client.

Due to the owner's schedule, the project will take place gradually over the course of several months, with the chosen designer having the opportunity to select and purchase furnishings incrementally. Though the underlying concept and approach will be subject to review before the project commences, the furniture and additional purchases will be made over the course of the commissioned period, allowing the designer to thoroughly and efficiently succeed in executing his or her particular vision.

Those looking for a freelance opportunity with considerable creative freedom should send a resume and examples of past work that reflect overall approach and style. Pay will be 20-percent commission of the overal budget.
