Designer with high-end residential and commercial projects seeks intermediate designer for freelance assistance with projects (20-25 hours/week).
Requirements include:
- Min. 3-4 years experience in high-end residential and commercial projects.
- Create CAD floor plans, elevations, detail drawings, schedules.
- FF&E selection/sourcing and manage vendor communication and purchasing process. Must have experience preparing specs and spec books.
- Ability to do research, manage project documents and work efficiently.
- Must be familiar with NY Design Showrooms and resources.
- Manage scheduling and communication between architects, contractors and vendors.
- Experience with all aspects of the design process from concept through installation.
- Administrative work including purchasing, follow-up, scheduling, preparing meeting minutes as well as general office/administrative duties.
- Excellent computer skills. Must be proficient in CAD, Photoshop, Excel, Word.
Individual must have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, well spoken, present well and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
