Hospitality Interior Designer (Oakland Downtown)

Perkins Eastman is looking for a Hospitality Interior Designer for their Oakland office. The position is for an experienced Project Manager/Designer of Interiors, with a focus on Hospitality and interest in Interiors for Healthcare. The individual will work with project teams on Hospitality projects from start to finish. Tasks include space planning, programming, design presentations (including renderings & materials boards), FF&E selection, millwork detailing, preparation of contract drawings.

Requirements:

-Undergrad degree from accredited program

-Minimum of 5 years experience in field

-Capability to produce full FF&E documentation

- Good knowledge of materials/vendors/assembly of materials boards

-Experience with design of custom furniture and lighting is a plus

- Good hand sketching/drawing

- Good speaking and presentation skills

-Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms, Photoshop, Indesign (Optional)
