New York architecture and interior design firm seeking a highly qualified interior designer for full time position with benefits. The applicant must be a graduate from an accredited design/architectural program and must possess 5-8 years of related experience. Ideal candidate would be able to manage smaller projects with little supervision and have the ability to work on multiple projects in varying capacities.
Required Skills:
Space planning
Design conception and development
Strong AutoCAD skills
Good knowledge of working drawings and production skills
Ability to develop color palettes and finish schemes
Ability to develop FF&E package from selection to specification (including knowledge & experience with contract furniture)
Good presentation skills, must be able to communicate with clients and vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
3D drawing/rendering, either by hand or computer
Revit
Millwork and interior architectural detailing
NCIDQ certified
LEED accreditation
