A mid-sized interior design firm in Arlington has an immediate opening for a Residential Designer. Responsibilities include meeting with clients and all aspects of residential design, including selecting fabrics, fixtures, paint, window treatments, and furnishings, pricing, researching, and creating proposals in design manager. Other responsibilities include space planning and scaling furniture, light drafting (floor plans, furniture plans, preliminary built-ins concepts, etc). Ability to do hand renderings and CAD experience a plus. We are looking for a bright, organized, dependable individual with good design, communication and technology skills. Candidate must have good people skills and rapport with clients. Must be able to multitask and work in open office environment. Requirements are a Bachelor or Associate Degree in Interior Design and a minimum of 2 years' experience in the design industry. This is a part to full time position of 30-40 hours per week.
