High-end Residential Interior Designer, regularly published in the top Residential Interior Design Magazines is seeking individual as a part-time Design and Personal Assistant.
Requirements: Drafting and sketching skills - for manually drafting furniture plans, sketching (elevation, furniture), computer sketch plans positive but not required; computer literate - to prepare templates et al for plumbing and appliance spec. books for projects; own car/insurance - for trips to Pacific Design Center et al to pick-up/return samples; positive demeanor and appearance, and attitude. Organizational assistance also will we requested.
Design assistant will also be requested to address personal errands - such as shopping, pick-ups, drop offs et al.
In the past, we have hired many individuals who are students at the UCLA Interior Design Program, and other programs, as entry-level employees/interns, and who have had extended stays based on project status.
At this time, we are looking for a part time employee (or intern if you are in Design Program and prefer status), for 10-15 hours per week depending upon your availability. Additional time option may be offered later based on project status/needs.
