Aesthetics, Inc., a Healthcare Design Firm, is looking for an individual with an Interior Design background for a position in the Visual Art Programs Department.
This position will develop and execute appropriate design solutions for projects; prepare location plans, elevations and perspectives as required; prepare client review materials and power point presentations. Additional tasks include communications with and contracting artists and vendors, keeping spreadsheets, developing installation specifications for framed art, sculpture and interactive art; developing art procurement plans, schedules and budget analysis of project scope, reviewing shop drawings for design intent reviews, mock-ups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors; assisting with implementation of approved programming approach; assisting with preparation of design analysis and research. This position will work collaboratively with the client, the artists and vendors, general contractors and installers, and with other personnel within Aesthetics.
Job Requirements
Basic Requirements for Consideration:
* 2-3+ years commercial interior design experience (healthcare experience desired)
* Bachelors degree in Interior Design
* Must have thorough knowledge of commercial interiors project constructability, project costs, and current code requirements
* AutoCAD and Microsoft Office experience required
* Revit, Adobe Suite, and Google Sketch-up experience preferred
* Basic knowledge of Evidence-based design desired
* Knowledge of visual art and framing desired
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in managing a client base
* Must be a motivated self-starter, with availability to travel.
