Kravet, Inc., one of the leading international fabric and fine furnishings companies, is currently looking for an addition to our Corporate Showroom Merchandising Department in New York City for our Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils showrooms.
This position offers the opportunity for the ideal candidate to help manage the national brand images for 32 Corporate Showrooms. The primary responsibilities are designing and coordinating installation of showroom interiors - encompassing selection of fabrics, upholstered furniture, case goods, lighting, draperies, wallpaper and wall upholstery, accessories and props.
The position requires a well-rounded individual with the ability to manage deadlines and installations while communicating effectively and diplomatically with showroom managers and regional offices.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of Interior Design experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to manage and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and with a team
* Ability to handle multiple projects
* Well organized
* Detail oriented
* Travel required
* Computer literate
* AutoCAD required
