SDA Architects + Designers specializing in retail design and branding currently has an opening for an Interior Designer. We are looking for a team player with a lot of initiative. We have high end, luxury clients that appreciate hard work and design excellence.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architecture, Interior Design or other design field
Minimum 5 years experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Autocad 2008+
LEED AP a plus, however, not required.
Strong knowledge of architectural interior design concepts, practices, construction documents and procedures
Ability to work as part of a team.
Knowledge of interior materials and finishes.
Working knowledge of CAD drafting using AutoCAD software.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Organizational skills
Creativity, Professionalism and enthusiasm to learn
Select and develop interior finishes and prepare color palettes and finish boards
Provide AutoCAD support on projects which include completing Interior Design Packages: floor plans, furniture plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, interior details, millwork details, ceiling details etc.
