Williams Architects is an established west suburban architectural firm specializing in municipal, religious, recreational and commercial architecture and interior design. We are currently, seeking a Part-Time Interior Designer I professional with 1-3 years of experience to work in our office located in Itasca, IL.
The interior designer will assist in project development and design during all phases of projects, which include; programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents and specifications.
Employment responsibilities include:
Assist project managers and senior designer with completing project goals, through all phases of project development.
Assist with development of space plans and preparation of conceptual design sketches and concept statements.
Assemble presentation boards.
Assist with the development and completion of contract documents and specifications. Furniture drawings and specifications
Attend meetings with clients, consultants and vendors
Assist with the maintenance of the office library
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Interior design. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD 2008 and revit. Microsoft office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Photoshop and in Design.
