Atlanta based Remodeling company is looking to fill a position for a Design Manager.

The Design Manager reports directly to the President. Is responsible for the overall Design and selections process for the company. Coordinates activities related to the design, specification and estimating process. The DM gathers information, creates accurate drawings and assists with estimates and construction contracts with the President. After the construction contract is secured, complete final construction drawings and coordinate activities between President and field staff. Responsible for client communication and customer satisfaction throughout the remodel project. The DM manager will also be responsible for light office management work.

Position Requirements:

College degree or a minimum of 3 -- 5 Years experience in related field.

Professional Design experience a must.

Highly organized and process oriented with an eye for task and detail.

Maintains ownership of client relationship from start to finish.

Keep commitments with strong follow through.

Project a professional image; demonstrate high level of integrity and confidentiality.

A strong knowledge computers and software including Chief Architect, CAD or its equivalent. Knowledge of Chief Architect a plus.

A working knowledge of residential construction.

Strong communication, job coordination, and supervisory skills.

Ability to interact and communicate with crews, subcontractors and clients.

An ability to work extended hours as required.

Punctual with reliable transportation.
