Boulder-based, established residential interior designer is seeking an individual with residential interior design experience. I prefer to hear from seasoned applicants who have actually worked professionally in the capacity of interior design, planning and implementation of projects with homeowners for at least five years, and who have great references.
Duties include partnering with clients in designing and managing residential interior design projects, design consultations, space planning, scale drawings and written plans, product research and specifying, estimating projects large and small from decorating to interior remodel projects, shopping, supporting client-run projects, purchasing, scheduling, working with vendors and installers, follow up, recordkeeping and billing, filing, tracking and reporting project progress.
Desired skills include strong creative and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, discretion and diplomacy in handling of confidential information, ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment, thorough understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks. Ease and comfort with internet research and multi-media marketing. Knowledge of ,and ability to work with, construction trades.
