High end residential Interior Design firm is seeking an experienced Sr. Designer with proven skills in discovering, interpreting, developing and communicating design insights and opportunities. This position requires 3-7 years of experience, at least 3 recent residential projects and excellent technical/AutoCAD and communication skills. Must have the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment as well as the ability to multi-task as we are a small office in need of a self starter who is motivated organized, and detail oriented. You will also be required to work independently.
Candidate must possess the following qualities:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong computer skills: proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D Max desired
Ability to solve problems and act as a liaison between clients and company
Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture degree from an accredited program
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Space Planning
FF&E specifications
Meeting with clients/vendors
Assist with sourcing fabrics and furniture, trips to the D&D
Processing purchase orders and invoices
Candidate must be capable of contributing to all phases of design.
