We are seeking a self-motivated, organized individual to provide design assistance and product information, mainly to our architectural and design clients. This is a great opportunity to become a critical part of an established firm with 25 years design/manufacturing experience.

This is a multifaceted Design position requiring the ability to present to Architects, General Contractors and Interior Designers, as well as interacting directly with the consumer. The Designer will assist our clients in the planning, design and selection of waterfalls for their projects.

We are a small and friendly group and everyones participation is valuable. There will be a lot of opportunity to work from a virtual office. There might be some travel required for tradeshows, or occasionally, to meet with clients.

Some of the Responsibilities of this Position Will Include:

Work closely with the architectural and interior design community as a specialist to establish and maintain relationships.

Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise with regard to all Harmonic Environments products.

Designing, coordinating, specifying, and detailing our products, primarily for interior spaces.

Estimating product costs and project scope and preparing proposals.

Effectively managing time to exceed all client expectations.

Develop new products, services and materials.

Follow-up on all sales leads and maintain client contact through project completion, leading to testimonials.

Skills / Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in the A&D community.

Computer savy; MAC is a plus.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, or Business Mgt.

Ability to read blueprints and understand information pertaining to construction documents.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Web, Multimedia, FILEMAKER or other database management software. Knowledge of AutoCAD or other Modeling Software is a plus.

Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills; Communicates clearly and consistently and listens effectively.

Excellent office skills; the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

Proven sales or design experience.

Seeks out new business opportunities.

Very detail oriented.

Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.

Strong business ethics always on time, willing to help, willing to go above and beyond.
