The owner of a small residential interior design studio in Clarendon is looking for a young designer to be her assistant. If you are a recent graduate from a reputable interior design program this could be a wonderful opportunity. The candidate must be able to perform basic interior design assignments and also be happy to do a multitude of tasks. Maintaining all aspects of office organization and client's designs will be the main focus. The possibilities to grow with the company are great.

Assistant to Owner:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Assist owner with office and personal organization.

- Assist with communication and support all activities relative to technology (Microsoft office, word, Mac, and all basic)

- Assist with all aspects of design presentation, communication, and technology with clients and vendors.

Professional design duties include:

- Drawing floor plans, elevations, and perspective renderings.

-Maintaining the office systems for keeping track of projects.

-Research selected products for pricing and measurements for presentations.

-Drive to client's properties; meet with subcontractors, and communication with vendors.

-Must have a car and the ability to do medium lifting.

-Help build presentations for clients.

Qualifications:

-Highly organized

-Great written and verbal skills

-Detail Oriented

-Willing to be extremely helpful

-Graduate of reputable Interior Design School

-Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
