Job Description
Aesthetics, Inc. is looking for an Interior Design Project Manager for Healthcare Interior Design. We are a multidisciplinary healthcare design firm that collaborates to bring harmony, balance and beauty to the built environment.
The Designer develops and executes appropriate design solutions for portions of projects; prepares plans, elevations and perspectives as required, performs space planning; prepares and delivers presentations to clients; researches and recommends appropriate furniture, finishes, and accessories; assists in preparation of furniture, furnishings and accessory budgets; prepares design development packages for production, in accordance with established standards; researches alternative solutions for budget constraints; performs site inspections for verification of design intent; assists with site inspection of furniture and other F, F and E installations; reviews shop drawings for design intent reviews, mock-ups, materials, and finish samples submitted by project contractors; assists with implementation of approved programming approach; conducts surveys and furniture inventories; assists with preparation of design analysis and research; effectively manages project team members, work plans, schedules, and budgets; training support and mentoring to team members; maintain client communication; collaboratively work with other departments in the company
Job Requirements
Basic Requirements for Consideration:
7+ years of commercial design experience required, 2 years of healthcare design experience desired
Bachelors degree in Interior Design
Must have thorough knowledge of commercial interiors project constructability, project costs, and current code requirements
NCIDQ certification and CID licensing required; LEED certification preferred
AutoCAD experience required; Revit, Adobe Suite, and Google Sketch-up experience preferred
Must have basic knowledge of Evidence-based design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a motivated self-starter
