Interior Designer/Retail Sales/Project Manager

The position: Work with customers in our retail showroom to help them select flooring and countertop finishes for their home. Products include tile, stone, hardwood, vinyl, Marmoleum, carpet, cork, bamboo, quartz countertops, etc. Position includes in-home visits to measure, putting together job pricing and overseeing job progress with the help of our Installation Coordinator. The company: Classique Floors is a progressive, locally owned and operated floor covering company serving the residents and businesses of the Portland area since 1977. We specialize in environmentally friendly flooring materials installed professionally. Our work includes residential and commercial installations.

The training: We offer an eight week training program including online training, mentoring by seasoned designer, in-store training, vendor training, and more.

The compensation: Pay starts at $2500 per month. When employee is ready, they can choose to change to commission. Average pay for this position on commission is $60,000 - $75,000/yr, with the potential of much more.

Position is full time

Starts Monday Friday, transitions to Sunday Thursday after 3 month training period

Starts as salaried position, transitions to commission when employee is ready employees decision
