Our High End Import/Design Company known for its vast offerings of fine natural stone has an opportunity for a Interior Designer/Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal person will be a highly motivated, energetic self starter who is goal oriented with a strong record of successful sales. Your primary responsibility is to direct your own sales potential while assisting interior designers, builders, architects, contractors and homeowners in choosing interior and exterior surface materials for both residential and commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities
Be excited about coming to work and feel comfortable demonstrating your passion for sales and design in helping the client. To truly take the Interior Design Sales Professional to the next level you will excel at working independently and as a team member, delivering top-notch customer service and using your interpersonal and communication skills to your advantage.
As the Interior Designer/ Sales Professional, you will:
Assist residential and commercial clients and the trade.
Advise clients on products and design related to function, color schemes and color coordination.
Help customers and clients make design decisions and material selections.
Handle sales calls.
Inside & outside sales.
Calling on Architects, Interior Design Firms and General Contractors.
Prepare material estimates.
Process sales and purchase orders.
Provide excellent customer service
Nurture customer relationships
Contact new & existing clients to discuss their needs
Meet monthly sales goals
Requirements
At our Company, we feel that each staff member, including yourself, should be knowledgeable about your client's needs and the products you present. As an Interior Designer/Sales Professional you must meet the following requirements:
Degree in Interior Design
Retail sales experience with solid closing skills
3 years of Interior Design experience
Working knowledge of the Stone & Tile industry
AutoCAD skills
Aptitude for math
Detailed oriented
Ability to multi-task
