Manhattan based studio specializing in modern and contemporary restaurant & residential design. We are currently seeking a sharp, talented, and responsible Architect / Interior Designer . Position will require the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should be equally able to take direction and work independently as needed, while being fully accountable for all project assignments.
Candidate Requirements:
- BARCH or MARCH
- 3-5 years professional experience minimum
- Must be a current resident of New York City and have the appropriate paperwork to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication skills with client and team members
- Through knowledge of assembling Construction Documents
- Experience with material specification and FF&E
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, and DOB drawings submittals
- Experience in coordinating trades and reviewing shop drawings
- Highly detail oriented with exceptional understanding of building components
- Proficiency in CAD 2010, Google SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite Programs, Microsoft Office
