Small interior design firm looking for a skilled designer. This person should be creative, organized, responsible, take direction well and pay meticulous attention to detail. The position is for a full time designer with a minimum of 2 years experience in an interior design or architectural firm. Superior design skills are a must and a sense of humor is always appreciated. Projects include renovation and new construction of multifamily communities nationwide.

Position available is for a Junior Designer.

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS you have the following requirements:

- A degree in interior design from 4 year accredited program

- 2 or more years of experience

- A good sense of design, color, and interior architecture

- Ability to introduce creative concepts & brainstorm ideas

- Ability to work quickly

- Must be capable of creating construction documents

- Must be willing to take direction and follow instructions

- Can juggle multiple tasks/projects and keep track of work lists and deadlines

- Can work as an individual (self motivated), but also as a team player and take creative direction

- Has experience with preparing presentations to include boards, graphics and documentation

- Has experience with furniture and fabric selection, pricing, specification data entry, expediting

- Has experience with code compliant interior finish selections and detailing

- Must have some familiarity with commercial code requirements and ADA regulations

- Proficiency in AutoCAD

- Proficiency in SketchUp

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
