We are seeking an Occupancy Planner to work with the NELSON Strategies group to execute the delivery of services. These services include portfolio plans, occupancy strategies, and work environment solutions by managing qualitative and quantitative technical analyses of corporate real estate and facilities, information technology, human resource and compliance requirements for singular or multiple client engagements and project assignments. The ideal candidate would have skills in the delivery of strategic planning services, project management and corporate real estate.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute migration planning activity which include, but are not limited to development of migration and phasing plans, stack and block fit plans and collection and analysis of data related to Clients needs.
Present and negotiate plans to internal and external clients on a frequent basis.
Establish project goals, time lines, and outline delivery milestones for internal employees as well as external clients.
Collect, organize and analyze data related to Clients facility requirements, physical or virtual space needs.
Identify, analyze and apply related data from resources such as information technology, human resources and compliance in regards to the creation and execution of physical or virtual space solutions.
Develop migration and phasing plans for relocation and sequencing of moves required to achieve end states, including simultaneous facilitation of both legacy and new work environment solutions if required.
Develop project-level and portfolio-level solutions based on interpretation of the program data and preparation of recommendations.
Prepare implementation schedules of critical path and milestone events.
Evaluate alternative scenarios against criteria for success including relative pros and cons of each alternative. * Prepare migration and origination plans, schematic schedules, stack and block fit plans.
* Enter and maintain information into project tracking software
Minimum Job Requirements/Qualifications:
*Two to five years experience in project management and/or real estate planning directly related to the delivery of strategic planning services
* Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or other related field
* Intermediate MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint, and AutoCAD skills necessary
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients and/or Teammates of the organization
* Demonstrated success functioning in a virtual work environment
* Project management skills
* Previous planning background is a plus, but not necessary.
