Creative Interiors and Design is expanding its interior design TEAM. We have a beautiful showroom with a wide selection of high quality furniture and accessories as well as lighting, rugs, and an extensive fabric collection. We have access to some of the best furniture manufacturers, hundreds of suppliers, and thousands of styles, so our designers can help clients create a look and feel they will love in their home.
Creative Interiors and Design is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, self starting people with design experience who enjoy the selling environment and have a passion to help people achieve the home environment they love.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
- Greeting customers and building a rapport to help bring them through the process of creating a room environment they desire.
- In-home consultations, creating a master plan for the client using space planning, furniture and fabric selection as well as accessories and window treatment design; must be able to work individually AND as a team!
- Processing orders on the computer and following through with orders to delivery and installation in clients' homes.
- Working collaboratively with a TEAM to fulfill client needs; this is essential to success!
- Ability to learn AND apprentice in the position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Enthusiasm, self motivated, passion for design, goal oriented, knowledgeable and caring
- Strong Sales skills: understands and able to manage the sales process from prospecting to closure
- Must be able to move furniture around, hang pictures and accessorize areas
- Previous Design and Sales experience 2 years.
- Enthusiastic and excited about a performance-based compensation plan
- Ability to build a client base, follow through and follow up
- Available to work holidays, Saturdays and an occasional Sunday (one or two Sundays a year)
- Sales Management experience is a plus
COMPENSATION:
- Performance based compensation plan. Income limited only by skill set and amount of effort you apply.
