SALES/INTERIOR DESIGNER
Home by Baja.com firm seeking a full time experienced in/out-house Interior Designer/Showroom Salesperson.
The position would focus on two areas:
Showroom Salesperson - We are looking for a dynamic salesperson who is a proven performer and is passionate about interior design. An experienced salesperson who enjoys taking with customers and generating design client leads.
Design Assistant - Assistance with client presentations, custom furniture selection, drapery, lighting etc. on large scale jobs.
You must have work experience in retail sales and interior design.
You must be willing to work on a flexible schedule that may include weekends.
Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions.
Manage constant communication with current account listing while continuing to prospect potential accounts.
Responsibilities:
Prepare daily action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Present and sell company products and services to current accounts and potential accounts in assigned regions.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Coordinate with Warehouse Manager to accomplish the product required to close the sales.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Fluent in English and. Spanish
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Base Salary + Commission
Location: Solana Beach
Ability to self-manage.
Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
