We are a well established, award-winning and often published high-end residential interior design firm. Our work includes custom designed furniture, fabrics and rugs.

We are currently seeking a talented, responsible, ambitious Senior Designer for a full-time position. Must be a sharp individual who is AutoCAD-proficient, detail-oriented, inquisitive and curious. The candidate must be equally able to take direction and work independently as needed, while being fully accountable for all project assignments.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the firm's principal and studio manager in all aspects of project design, construction documentation and site work. Applicants should prove a strong design sensitivity and thoroughness in drawing, as well as demonstrate project organization that is commensurate with extensively customized high-end projects. Work will include drafting of projects, picking up red lines, permit drawings, and shop drawings. The position requires communicating on a daily basis via phone calls and emails with our clients, professional consultants, fabricators, site labor and sub-contractors.

Persons interested must also meet the following requirements:

* 3+ years of experience and professional degree in Interior Design.

* Project Management experience.

* Construction Documentation experience.

* Site and Field work experience in construction.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Hand Rendering, SketchUp.

* Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SketchUp (or similar)

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Attentiveness to detail with a keen eye.

* Must be a highly motivated, prepared and organized individual.

* Must have an innovative and efficient approach to all aspects of work and problem solving.

* Strong time management skills and ability to remain flexible while multi-tasking.

* Meeting deadlines is a must.

* Interest and aptitude to work in an extremely fast-paced office culture.

* Handle vendor relationships including tracking orders

* Organize schedules

* Great client communication skills

* Prepare materials and participate in client presentations

* Manage budgets and coordinate with accounting department

* Work closely with Principal

* Work closely with as well as supervise junior staff
