Tribal Brands is looking for a creative, self-motivated, Account Manager to join our team to help manage the day to day activities of one of our biggest clients, a leader in the Telecommunications industry. This role will work directly with our Account Management team based in the New York City office. We are looking for someone that is articulate and organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with developing program presentations and budgets.
Tribal Brands creates and manages marketing programs in the entertainment, film, music and sports industries for our clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for participating in program ideation sessions for client marketing initiatives and must have a strong command of current trends in music, sports and entertainment. They should also be current on mobile technologies and new innovations in the Telecom space.
Candidates should have the ability to work with clients, understand their business objectives and be comfortable engaging face to face and presenting in meetings. They should also be a self-starter, enjoy a fast-paced work environment and understand the fundamentals of client services. The role involves a lot of autonomy while being supported by current senior account staff. The individual must be a creative thinker and a problem solver. Familiarity with social networking, and sweepstakes/contest implementation are a plus.
This position will report directly to a team of Account Directors.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
5-7 years of client services and management and/or agency experience
Experience in music, entertainment or sports industries
Must be highly proficient at Powerpoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
Mobile marketing background a plus
Project management expertise a plus
Willingness to travel up to 25%
