Administrative Assistant / Sales Training Position.

$10.00 per hour, plus commission.

American Music Company, Inc. is a small, young company (8 years old) with an exciting future. As a music production / publishing company, we provide background music for TV commercials, broadcast programs, films, documentaries and other venues.

We are looking for a highly motivated, outgoing and friendly, articulate self-starter to be an Administrative Assistant. The right person will also have the opportunity to participate in the sales and marketing aspect of our company. You will be responsible for answering the phones, light office work, billing, filing, and other administrative duties. You will be in a position to learn all about our operation and be trained if need be, to learn how to make sales calls and bring in additional business to our company. When you are not doing the expected administrative duties, you will be responsible for calling upon prospective clients in the entertainment, advertising, and broadcast industry to interest them in our music services for their productions.

Qualifications:

1. Articulate and Friendly.

2. Gift of gab.

3. Exceptional telephone skills.

4. Strong writing and communication skills.

5. Highly organized.

6. Excellent sense of humor.

7. General PC computer knowledge is necessary. (will train on our programs)

8. Latin / Spanish speaking, would be great and a plus, (not a necessity)
