Business Development Intern Job Description
Intern will focus on assisting the Business Development team daily on various operating tasks. This position is integral to securing new clients and projects and continuing to grow the business in general.
Duties will include:
Support CID Business Development team with detail oriented research on potential clients
Collect, organize, and evaluate competitive industry info/metrics
Assist with coordination of information for weekly sales meeting
Process incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Work within CID's custom Filemaker system to keep all contacts and client records up to date
Provide overall administrative support
Telephone coverage / call screening
Maintain inventory of office supplies
Maintain overall professional functionality and appearance of the physical office
Run errands when necessary
Other responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation of any and all initiatives put forth by the Business Development Department
- Participate in weekly & daily meetings, summarize minutes
Requirements for the position are as follows:
Detail oriented
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Ability to exercise creativity and take initiative
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated, self-starter who can handle large tasks without a lot of day-to-day management
Team player with a professional and personable demeanor
Desire to learn the business and take on additional responsibility
Must possess strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
As an intern, you'll be an essential part of the CID team and have a fun time while gaining valuable knowledge and work experience in the entertainment industry.
Internship can be used for college credit.
Must be available at least 3-5 days a week.
