PURPOSE

The Distribution Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting with royalty retrieval operations and the distribution of small licensee royalty accounts.

FUNCTIONS

Daily functions include, but are not limited to:

Assist with scanning paper statements

Research and process warehouse requests and maintain communication with representatives from the storage facility

Barcode and create boxes for appropriate HFA documentation to be shipped to warehouse storage facility

Schedule pick up and delivery for requested files that are stored in the warehouse storage facility

Maintain an effective filing system for all cash receipts and final list of post

Assist with attaching and verifying publisher checks after each monthly check disbursement

Process royalty statements using the Song Level Distribution format for the month end check disbursement

Complete ad hoc research projects for the Legal Department

Assist external auditors with the retrieval of paid cash files and check edit reports

Conduct occasional visits to the storage facility

Projects as assigned by Management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

High School Diploma/GED

1 year of experience in a clerical role or office environment

Computer literacy and familiarity with the processing of electronic data; this includes: Microsoft Excel, Access, and scanning (OCR), as well as the ability to quickly gain expertise with new systems processes and software

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent research and electronic search skills

Hardworking, enthusiastic and results oriented

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to multi-task.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness and ability to work extended hours, off-hours and/or weekends, as required, in support of the company's business needs

Flexible and willing to adapt to changing priorities and procedures
